MiiPlaza.net GamerCreated.com is a site for the community by the community. We've given you a place to display your Miis, the ability to send messages from the web to your friend's consoles (Wiimail), community game reviews, a map to find nearby friends, a friend management system, news feeds from the top Wii news sites and now a forum to voice your thoughts on it all.

Over the years, we've implemented hundreds of suggestions, and the site has come a very, very long way as you will notice by reading through the early pages of the thread.

Post your thoughts here and we'll keep watch. Thanks for supporting GamerCreated.com!

there are so many trolls ruining this place recently. if we can ip track them or ban those f**kers this place should be much better. we should only allow registered users that have a wii address to post.

I hear you guys loud and clear... Sometimes I go in and delete the comments, sometimes I delete the votes too. I only recently was able to track IPs on votes, and we're gearing up for having "voter registration," which may replace the current voting sysstem altogether.

There's no need for fighting about nothing in a public forum, and I'm working to solve these issues in the meantime.

I'm not registered, but I still like to comment. Maybe they should have to create a name (I got dibs on Guest) :)

not directly to you but if you are a guest and a hater as well you shouldn't be posting. you are in no position to criticize others while yourself don't even have a damn mii.

Actually, I'll bet most people that troll do have an account. They just like the comfort of hiding behind a keyboard.

I say start the witch-hunt! BAN THEM ALL! BAN THE TROLLS!
And allow only registered users, with a legitimate e-mail to participate in any socially-related action on the site. (Vote, Comment, Forum)

And I hope your thinking of polishing up the forum.

It all looks great! Keep up the good work!

I think that next to the edit and conceal your miis, there should be an option to delete as well. To help control troll comments maybe we could get a delete comment option?

The solution is in offering a limited access account. People who want to post in the forum or vote in the contest will need to confirm their email address before doing so.

You're also able to delete comments on your miis. You should be able to showcase your work in a clean environment. I'll have individual comment flagging (for the user base) soon as well.

Hi there, I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this but here goes, I was wondering how you guys combine 2 pics together for your posts. Is there a quick and easy method? If some one can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appeciated

Jose I was wondering if you plan on making filters for the categories, or sorting by date, name, rating etc. This way some of the hidden gems might see the light :)
AND I would especially like to be able to alphabitize member miis. Specifically with the members with huge portfolios.

Thank you for the delete post option! Ever since it has gone up though, I can't get it to delete any comments....

Perfectd0rk, I believe I've since fixed this issue... try again? :)

Guest, isic has asked for this same feature and I plan on providing... but figuring out how to do it best is the hardest part.

I think I might allow for adding a single tag to an image, and then show the top 20 most popular tags in each category via a drop-down? Maybe this doesn't suffice.

Thoughts?

@Jose

Hmm well if there isn't an easy way to sort by ranking then could we possibly get alphabetical arrangement? Some portfolios are very large. :D

could you add some more categories for the new mii thing like animal or maybe worker(4 example if some1 made a buisness man then theyd use the worker categorie) i think that we use the micellaneus categorie to much.

^Actually that's a good idea. More Categories. Now that abstract Miis are the rage, you can create a Mii category for that.

Im not sure about more categories, but I would just really like a way to get some of the older miis back into the light. It seems if nobody was browsing in the days a good mii was submitted everyone misses it

Thats why I think search filters could help people gain more inspiration (alphabetical, date, rating , etc)

My plans with this information are as follows:

Bookmarking Miis. I'll allow registered users to bookmark Miis and save them to their personal collections. These bookmarks will be weighted into the ratings.

Tagging Miis. Mii creators will be able to assign a single tag to a Mii for keeps. Other users will then be able to tag the Miis as well, and the Mii will receive the tag when enough users have tagged it with the same tag. When enough Miis have a similar tag, that tag will then appear in a menu somewhere when browsing the category.

Thoughts?

Guest, I think improvements to the Search feature are needed now as well... as the number of Miis increase so does the difficulty of proposing a solution. :)

This is certainly a growing need, though. I will add this to the list as well.

One more thing (I need to add an "Edit within the next 2 minutes" feature to this message board):

What do you guys think of the way "Featured Miis" are picked? Happy with the results? Bored with the results? Whatever?

I see how they are picked now and I gotta tell you Jose, it seems a bit odd. So, instead of having a "featured mii's" that are hand-picked by you and a separate "most popular/highest ranked" you have just combined the two? I mean, as cool as it is to see my David Spade up there three days in a row, there are ALOT of other great miis on the side that may deserve front-page attention. I think that if you had a flag on each mii that said "FrontPageMaterial" or FPM or something and gave registered users the option to flag it and then when you had enough flags it would automatically showup on the front page in rotation, kind of like the "highest ranked" set used to be, only this time it could change like every 5 minutes instead of once or twice a day, with some miis staying there for a week or more at a time. Just my thoughts =)
