I think what happened is when he would quote someone it gave a code like: [ quote] number [/ quote], and thought it wasn't working properly.
Instead of having the entire post being quoted put in your box word for word I think the code is replaced by the post stored in the number combination.
But to answer his question, the quoting does work after a refresh.
On thing about the Quote Function is that you can only Quote already posted posts by a code the function gives you. This is good an all, but sometimes, one may want to quote a specific part of someone's post. For example, if I wanted to quote this part from your post: "I'm testing the update thread functionality."
