The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks is an upcoming video game for the Nintendo DS due to be released in 2009.
It was announced by Satoru Iwata at the 2009 Game Developers Conference. In the game, the player will be able to travel across the game's main world using a train, the tracks of which the player can draw. It is similar to The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, in which the player uses an upgradable boat to travel by drawing its path on the touchscreen.
This game looks cool! I loved the first LoZ:PH and was wondering if they were making a sequel. The train part looks wierd but if it turns out good then this will be a change to the usual Boat and Epona. Getting it as soon as it comes out!
I noticed the DSi too. Nintendo announced at GDC that for DSi there will be two types of Game Cards. One can be played using the DS, DS Lite, or DSi, and one will be for DSi only. No word yet if this will use All or DSi-Only. My Guess is it will be used for all DS's.
Just to clarify, wait I already that line, well anyways. That stone dude is named Phantom wink wink and he is used to help Link complete dungeons. Kinda like that wand thing form TP I think, from what it looks like.
this game is great ive been playing it for awhile now but i kinda wish they came up with a big variety of new weapons instead of bringing in the old ones
I enjoy it too but my only complaint is playing your spirit flute with the lokomos. Whenever I try, I don't have enough breath power and end up either missing a note or playing the same note twice in a row. Still a great game though!
