Alright, I think this is a better idea. And I haven't seen a thread like this before... (if I'm wrong, please correct me).

I guess everyone knows it: You'd like to make a mii, but you are uninspired, you don't have a clue of what/whom to make a mii.

So here is the (simple) idea: Just make mii suggestions, so that you help these uninspired, poor people. In return, they'll probably please you with the mii you suggested :)

So... just name the miis you'd like to see.

OK, I start. How about a mii from Aladdin? Maybe his genie?

Or, if that's too difficult, how about Vicky the Viking? (Of course, it does not have to be a character from an animation; it can be everything.)

It'd be cool if our non-mii-artists posted on here, to suggest miis they want. Either ones that don't exist on the site search, or ones that they think need an updated version. Then the artists can visit here if they need something new to try. Hopefully they'll all use the Search, first. (Not gonna respond to a 'Mona Lisa' mii request!!! :) I'd be more likely to try requests in the winter... once I run out of Animal Crossing characters. XD

Hmmm... you can also suggest miis you once tried, but failed and then gave up... I, for example, tried to make a smurf, but failed miserably. Everybody else can try a smurf, too! :)

I have tried and tried to make Professor Chaos, the alter ego of Leopold Butters Stotch from South Park. I would welcome any ideas.

The difficult thing here is the mask... I'd try to use the sunglasses (with the mole in the middle as the red dot) and the eyebrows (maybe the ones that look like thick rooftops) to form that... or I'd look for other opportunities to make him, maybe similar to how you made Yosemite Sam - with a little head... maybe have a look at my Frieza (Dragonball), something like that could work for Professor Chaos, too.

I went into that myavitar.com to make a quick version of what I have been working on:

I have other versions that I did in my mii plaza. What do you think? Oh, and for yosemite sam, that big head is supposed to give the illusion of his hat, at least that is what I was trying for.

Professor Chaos is looking good. :)

I've always thought Yosemite was excellent, and understood the hat right away.

Yep, looks good.
BTW, when you choose the option "Export" on My Avatar Editor, you are also able to zoom in.

I have tried doing the scout from TF2 but the hardest part is his head set it only goes over one ear and I'm having trouble any ideas?

@ King Galaxy: thanks for the suggestion. Never used this app before, so am trying it out. I thought the primary way I would use it is to make rough drafts of mii's that can be shown in a thread like this, but hidden because they are not the finished product. Also, I wouldn't have to find locate them in my mii plaza in order to take pictures with my cell phone. Speaking to that, here is a suggestion for Aladdin-can't even attempt the genie, but maybe it could be a canvas mii. Mind you, this is not something I plan to post, just an illustration to show what he (Aladdin) could look like-

@ Saliva1994, yours is kind of hard. I have seen a lot of mii's that use the eyebrows (page 1, 4th row, 2nd column seem to work the best) and the mole to represent headsets. The problem I see with the scout is that he wears a baseball cap, so it will be hard to camouflage the eyebrows. Maybe use one of the hairstyles to represent his cap, I dunno. I defer this one to the more experienced artists. You can get away with no eyebrows by using the facial feature in the third row third column if you place the eyes just so. Not sure I am helping at all, but do go for it.

@midna: Nice Aladdin. I'd probably look for a better nose (but I doubt that there is the perfect aladdin-nose in the channel) and a better haircut (also not sure whether that exists in the channel), though. Oh - and maybe a darker skin color, because on some pictures of him I see swarthiness... but one has to see whether it improves the overall face or not. Anyway, so far so good!
The genie is REALLY difficult, I once tried him but it just looked like a bald, mad clown or something like that...

@saliva: In a pinch I'd just forget that headset in order to be able to concentrate absolutely on his face and to make that as accurate as possible. This picture of him might be "mii-friendly"

One of my MAE miis and an example of a mii which can't be done exactly like the MAE version http://gamercreated.com/image/38850
So one should keep in mind that My Avatar Editor can't imitate the real Mii-Channel perfectly, but it's certainly good for drafts.

@King Galaxy, I agree, there are some limitations with myavitareditor.com. I guess for me, it is in the way they look; they seem "flat" for want of a better way to explain it. Not to say some are not good, but I much prefer the mii's made in the mii channel. That being said, which one looks better:

(which I have posted) or

I posted the first the one I made on my wii, even though it is not really the way I want it to look, so in effect is not the final version. I have other versions as I have stated before in my mii channel, but would welcome any criticism/observations on how to improve Prof. Chaos.

@Saliva1994-Thanks. You must be referring to the second picture where I used grey hair to represent a helmet. The first pix has the top of Prof. Chaos' head cut off, but it does indeed show him with blonde hair. I posted this one under new mii's, so please feel free to post comments there about how he can be improved.

@midna: Out of all your Prof. Chaos miis I like these two best:

Maybe use the bright skin, but try to put his mask just like you did with the mii on the left. A mixture between these two miis would probably result in the perfect Prof. Chaos :)

Thanks for your helpful suggestions King Galaxy; I have posted my final update on Professor Chaos. Please do check out my Marjorine when you get a chance. I guess you can tell I love South Park and especially Butters. I am still working on that genie from Aladdin (no real progress yet).

I am not familiar with King's Quest. I did look it up however. Sounds like you want to do the young king with or without the feathered hat, but have you thought about making him when he is older and wearing a crown?
