In 3 Words... Short, Fun and Short.

Im a fan of rayman until i played this, im used to the platforming version of rayman, and i loved that, so i came to this game with high expectations, just to find out the only free roaming element is running around a very basic stadium to get to 1 of 5 doors.

But what it does it does well...well most of the time, its very enjoyable on multiplayer, but if you only have one nunchuk as they are in high demand, multiplayer becomes very limited.

Most of the games make good use of the controller apart from the different coloured rabbids jukebox game which is very unreliable.

But what makes this game is the rabbids, without them, i would probably burn the disc. as it would be pointless otherwise. the videos are hysterical (even though they are hard to come by).

The story mode could have been longer in my opinion.

This is a collection of mini-games, nothing more.

Mini-games like these, it would seem, would be highly enjoyable by a group.

Unfortunately, as it turns out, very few are multiplayer, and fewer allow more than two people to play. And, yes, you must unlock them all individually.

That said, some have great potential - my favorites being the drawing exercise, the carrot juice defender game, and the choir you must keep in line -- but with the multiplayer aspect being the expected focus of a game in this genre, there just isn't enough of it.

Unlocking the games is frustrating and boring most of the time, since you must do it by yourself, and the story simply does not progress or entice - and worse, the mini-games are repeated along the way to extend the pain of unlocking them all.

I ended up downloading a game save to unlock them. And then I realized how few there were and it went straight to the drawer and has not come out since.

good for young children, finnished way too soon
good game..... single player can get repetitive after a while but multiplayer is fun to play....
conclusion: buy if you have someone to play against on multiplayer
Just hilarious! A must in any Wii-Party !

Awesome game, if you like fast, quick mini-games that you can play with friends or by yourself.

Let's start with the positives: some of the minigames are brilliant. The Rabbids are perhaps the cutest and most hilarious mascots of the new generation thus far, and the on-rails plunger-shooting stages are wonderful.

Now, the not-so-positives: the menu system feels a bit prototypical, as do the other half of the minigames. The story takes a definite back seat to gameplay, and many of the "70-plus" games advertised on the box are simply previous games with a greater degree of difficulty. Most of the "multiplayer" minigames are not playable simultaneously, but rather by taking turns and seeing who earns the best score. The graphics also aren't that amazing, with the in-game engine putting it somewhere in the neighborhood of high-end last-gen pretty. Finally, one last gripe, and this is my biggest: a good deal of the minigames have no pre-defined end; they simply conclude whenever you can no longer keep up with the speed of the challenge. Even Mario Party's games are decent enough to include a timer, right?

Initially, when I tried the game out at the birmingham bullring nintendo wii tour, I really liked the game, the rabbid rabbits are one of the best characters creations in gaming. But the mix of very good games and extremely bad ones gradually made me loathe it. Also, it is a bunch of mini games that loses its novelty very quickly and unlike warioware, it gets very repetitive.

Great on rental, I say...

A great party game once you have all the subgames opened up. We have spent many hours playing Rayman with friends.

I had a lot of fun with this title. Pretty good for multiplayer although its not co-ordinated very well. First player usually has big disadvantage and it never switches up the order. Has some pretty funny unlockables and mini-games are for the most part enjoyable.
Pro: Lots of good mini-games, Fixed movement shooter areas are fun, good variety.
Con: Over too soon (but its typical of games of this nature), some games are broken in multiplayer, no split screen multi(for some games its better if everyone had to play at the same time), does not save win record.
a real trip of a game, very fun minigames and if i could get my hands on a 2nd nunchuk multiplayer looks great

Rayman Raving Rabbits is a party game, a collection of mini-games that are very well done.
The art style and the bunnies are very interesting and the graphics are good for a Wii launch game.
The mini-games are diverse and especially the shooter ones are shinning.
Another strong point of the game is the humor. If you don't laugh at those bunnies you simply have no soul.
On the downside there isn't THAT many mini-games and some are similar. Also, the game is a bit buggy but don't let this discourage you because nothing is game breaking.
Rayman is at least "a rental". If you're looking for a game of mini-games, it's also the best one that is available yet for the Wii!

Silly, really silly, suitable for young girls who aren't intense gamers. It does not show off the wiimote as much as Warioware. But man the Clayfighters graphics suck so bad...

Crazy rabbits are funny, and they're pretty funny in this game too. The mini games are fun, especially in muliplayer. Anybody can enjoy it; the controls are simple, you'll be bashing rabbits on the head with a hammer in no time. I wish Rayman had the ability to do things other than walk and run, but what are gonna do the game is still fun. The score mode adds to the replay value long after you beat the game. The multiplayer mode is where this game shines, so grab some friends and your plunger gun and get some rabbits. 3 1/2 stars out of 5.

My first Rayman game to adventure in and to say the least it is still as unpleasant as it always seemed, excluding 2 major factors. Of course we can't get enough of the minigames since it seems the crowd just CAN'T WAIT for such releases as WarioWare and MarioParty (although I'd like more single player games over another minigame thing), but Rayman is different than such others as like Super Monkey Ball. Well to keep it simple the whole game is minigames, play 4 and then move onto the BOSS minigame, complete that to unlock new costumes to dress up the no armed, no legged hero. Ugly mascot? Yes. What is the game's cuteness factor? Possibly off the charts due to the insane Rabbids that you must abuse TERRIBLY in this game.

Fun times for a rental, might not be a "buy".

During the Christmas holiday, I had to rent something to kill some time, and I came across this at my BlockBuster. And for the rental week, it was an absolute blast to play.

You play as Rayman, and one day you get kidnapped along with some other "cute" creatures, and by playing certain mini-games in a gladiator setting, you earn toilet plungers. Why exactly? To create a ladder out of your jailcell. Now that's a concept.

The mini-games were fun and varied, from arcade shooters (the best in my opinion), to a rhythem based dance game where you flick the nunchuk and remote at the right moment, to cow tossing (like the hammer throw). Some mini-games were forgettable, but for the most part they were quite fun.

Could I play this game forever? Most likely not, but I'd suggest a rent before buying this. Its fun, but to me, not fun in the long term. 4/5.

I bought this game with my Chritmas money! This isn't really a review...more of an overview.

Main Concept:

You get captured by a bunch of rabbids...you knew that. Well, you start out in a giant colliseum. The rabbids are surrounding you booing. In front of you, there are 5 doors. Four normal ones, and one GIANT one blocked by a gate. Inside each door is a minigame you need to beat. Once you beat 3 out of the 4 minigames, the gate will open and you can beat the last one to move on. If you do all 4 minigames, you will unlock a song or costume. Once you beat the minigame behind the gate, you will be taken to your cell. In here you can change costumes, listen to your music, or replay the days games. When you are ready to move on, go to the door, and you will be put back into the colliseum for another set of games. There are 15 days total which when multiplied by 5, is 75. That makes 75 minigames total. Every time you beat the final minigame, you will get a plunger. You will not know what to do with them at first. You'll find out later.

Pros:

1. Fun unique ways to use the Wii Remote.
2. Hilairious! This game is funny in many aspects!
3. Challenging, addicting minigames that are fun to play!
4. Awesome multiplayer that'll keep you busy for hours!
5. A Score Mode so the game doesn't end once you beat story mode.
6. Awesome replay value!
7. Games will give you a workout!
8. In Score Mode, you do your best in the minigames and set records to gain points, to unlock bonuses. This is REALLY hard, but fun! You can even post your scores online!

Cons:

1. Story mode is SHORT. I beat it in a day. No guide. Not a speed run. First try.
2. It is ALL minigames. There isn't an adventure mode at all. That kind of sucks...
3. Horrible ending. It doesn't even end. And yes, I beat it 100 percent.

You decide if you want to buy it. As for me, I'm happy with it!

A must buy for Wii parties. This game is a blast with up to 4-players. Rent it if you're only in it for the single player experience.

crazy rabbits.
I was actually a bit disappointed with this game.... But I haven't tried multiplayer yet... Maybe that will help.
Lots of mini games, and it has somewhat comedy in it. it can be easy to beat for some people but some of the mini games can be a little tough. 70 mini games can keep you playing it for a long time, and you can gather some of your friends to play some of those mini games in multiplayer mode.

i didn't really love this game. some parts were fun but i found that the mini-game at the end of each level (the music/dancing/beat one) got to be too hard and not that fun.
