From the first Paper Mario to the current paper mario all get 5 out of 5... Paper Mario is one dominite game.

I know everyone hated the old paper mario games because of the stage battles since it made the games slow....but i honestly like them!
I would like this game better if it had the stage battles and more of the rpg styl put back in....
But still, this game is a MUST have!!!!

This is a must-have game.
VERY pro, and a great 3D engine.
Also its fun, and you have to think about your possibilities to go further in the game.

Greatest Game Ever For The Wii!!

Frankly I should have read into this game more before buying it. My honest opinion about this game is this... If your looking for a "seqeal" to Paper Mario "The thousand year door", (or the original Paper Mario on the N64) you WONT find it in this game.

This is sort of like a RPG/platformer hybrid. Which actually the platforming portion is awesome, it reminds me of the old style Super mario brothers games, only with prettier graphics. But "flipping" into 3-D is pretty dissapointing. So far I'm not overlly impressed, and actually miss the old "Thousand year door" style. (ie: turn based RPG action) I'll attempt to play through this game just for grins and giggles. (to justify having paid $52 for it) :-P Maybe I'll end up having a different opinion later on.

Like I said this seems to be a great platformer, But they could have almost went ahead and left the RPG elements out, (which pretty much amounts to getting points for stomping on or otherwise defeating enemies) and maybe even the 3-D "flipping" and it would have probally still been a great game! at the very least they should have done more to make the 3-D areas more impressive as they seem so barren and unintresting in most places.

The Paper Mario series never disappoints. This time, the genre has a brand new twist, a hybrid platform/rpg with excellent gameplay, hilarious dialogue, and clever puzzles. Highly recommended.
