According to the latest news in the horrible tragedy that saw one woman trying to win a Wii die from chugging H20, after several from the station were fired, word comes in that, during the contest, the on-air personalities stated they knew that it was dangerous. After a listener called in to warn them, one of the DJs commented "Yeah, we're aware of that," being backed up by his on-air co-pilot who said "they signed releases, so we're not responsible. We're OK." What's even worse is that during the show, the DJs even commented on a similar case that ended in death for a college student.

As of now, the family of Jennifer Lea Strange are planning on filing a wrongful death suit against radio station 107.9 KDND-FM.

When we saw this, we knew it was right up our alley. Given our love of generators, we knew you folks would appreciate this as much as we do. It isn't only restricted to the original Zelda game, either, allowing one to mess around with Link to the Past as well. The whole spectrum of possible images is one that is so gigantic that it causes our brain to melt down into a smooth, oily paste, slowly secreting from our ears and eventually falling to the floor, nothing more than a small puddle of steam and disgusting fluid.

With that horrible image in mind, be sure to post your creations in the comments section!

So, are you still playing Wii Sports? We don't just mean with your family members or nongamer friends -- after all, now you have Wario Ware to throw into that mix. No, we mean just you, alone with a racket Wiimote, plugging away for that platinum medal in Target Practice. Personally, it's still a big favorite in this blogger's house, both for multi- and single player action. It seems an appropriate question of the day, so tell us -- are you still breaking out the Wii Sports once or twice a week (or even more)?

We're all about loving the consoles, but we're not really sure about loving the consoles, you know? But we try not to judge. That doesn't mean we can't giggle behind a hand at this creative take on the relationship between a console and its owner. AP reporters Derrik J. Lang and Ryan Pearson recently went through e|Harmony's compatibility questions to see how solid their relationships were with their new consoles. These questions apparently reveal who you are at "the deepest level," and according to Lang and Pearson, the PS3 is a needy brat and the Wii is a peppy little ball of sunshine. Looks like the console wars are all decided, then!

Also, apparently the Wii is a Democrat. Who knew?

IGN has a new feature up detailing the next Wii games you'll be playing (and one you might be playing right now). Looks like March will see the end of these empty, game-free weeks in favor of a barrage of titles. Profiled games include:

Godfather: Blackhand Edition
Heatseeker
Prince of Persia: Rival Swords
SSX Blur
Sonic and the Secret Rings
Mortal Kombat: Armageddon
Mario Party 8
TMNT
Bust-a-Move Bash!

Definitely a wide array of titles (though we skipped the more heavily discussed minigame collections), offering a little something for almost any gamer. Looking for a GTA-type experience? Check. Tricky snowboard action? Got you covered. High-flying fun? Landing at the end of March. The real question is -- which of these are high on your must-have lists?
