What country do you live in, and if applicable, what state?
I was born in Miami, Florida, and then moved to El Salvador, Central America.
How do you choose what Miis you're going to make? Do you have a process?
I usually make miis about characters that are currently popular or already very famous. I normally make canvas art miis, or video game and cartoon character miis. I make few 'real people' miis, unless they are fictional characters in a movie.
After I have chosen a character, I find I picture in which it is showing its signature expression, and try to work with that in the mii editor.
It's a different story with canvas miis, though. Most of the time I am just playing around with the editor, then find a shape in all the mess, and start working from there. But if I have a character in mind while making a canvas, I just try to find a resemblance or likeness between the editor's facial features I'll use (nose, mustache, eyes, etc) and the character's actual body.
So I just sort of put the 'already-drawn' pieces (these facial features) together.
Which Mii do you feel is your best so far?
There are many miis I'm very proud of.
I don't have a specific favorite, but in terms on time spent on a mii, then my canvas R2D2 would probably be it. It took me loads of time and was really hard to make. Other miis of mine that I really like are Fox, Ghost, Abduction, Optimus Prime, Toad, and the list goes on...
What one (and only one) Mii piece would you add to the Mii Channel if you could?
One one hand, I would have liked to see some interesting features - such as more colors, or ears. But on the other hand, I feel that the lack of these features add the challenge to mii-creating -- hence what makes it so much fun.
Of course, there are some features I would have liked to see that wouldn't take away the challenge and would be very helpful, such as more mouth types and more hairstyles.
Do you do any sort of art by trade? What other creative outlets do you pursue apart from the Mii Channel?
I am an artist and have been drawing and painting since I am a little kid. It is my favorite hobby. I love to draw, both digitally and by hand. If I'm not playing video games, hanging out with my friends, or in class, I'll be drawing.
Heck, sometimes I'll be drawing in class ;)
So when I got my Wii, I instantly fell in love with miis, and have been creating ever since.
What's your favorite experience with the Wii so far?
The mii channel, obviously, and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. When I first swung my sword, I couldn't stop smiling. Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, and Mario Kart were great, too.
What game do you feel is missing from the Wii line-up most right now, given the Wii's unique control mechanic?
We absolutely need a Lightsaber/Wii-Mote Star Wars game! And with the Wii Remote motion attachment coming soon, it seems like that dream actually coming.
Any additional props, plugs or comments?
