What country do you live in, and if applicable, what state?
New Jersey, USA
How do you choose what Miis you're going to make? Do you have a process?
At first I chose my favorite characters from cartoons, TV, and the news. After a while, I got mii-on-the-brain and started thinking about how I would make a Mii to resemble every person I saw. To create a Mii, usually I start by choosing some parts that are in the right ballpark. Then I pay particular attention to size and placement of the parts in relation to the head. I think that's the most important part of making a Mii that actually looks like someone. Once I have the placement down, I fine tune the choices for the various facial components, angles, etc. On occasion I'll exaggerate a feature to give the Mii more of a caricature feel.
Which Mii do you feel is your best so far?
It's hard to pick a favorite. People seem to like my Bob Marley. I always get a kick out of seeing Butt-head, Borat, and Adrian Monk showing up in crowds on Wii Sports and Wii Play.
What one (and only one) Mii piece would you add to the Mii Channel if you could?
There are a bunch of missing hair styles and hats... A Mohawk would be cool.
Do you do any sort of art by trade? What other creative outlets do you pursue apart from the Mii Channel?
I make animated Flash creations and design websites. You can see my stuff a http://www.TocciOnline.com .
What's your favorite experience with the Wii so far?
Playing Wii Sports with friends is always a blast. It's tough to top the experience of playing Zelda though.
What game do you feel is missing from the Wii line-up most right now, given the Wii's unique control mechanic?
I'm a huge fan of Mario Kart. I know there are some other driving games that make use of similar control mechanics, but they can't compete with the fun of Mario Kart.
Any additional props, plugs or comments?
MiiPlaza.net is a great forum for sharing original Mii creations. There are some really creative minds on this site who have pushed the limits of what can be done with Mii characters. I've been inspired by other users quite a few times. Props to Nintendo for coming up with a truly innovative product, Jose Nintendo for all his hard work on the MiiPlaza site, and all the Mii creators who have shared their characters with the rest of us.
You can find more of Tocci's Miis on his user page.
