Quote Nintendo:We at Nintendo sincerely thank you for your continued patronage of our company's products. We would like to inform you that a portion of the network services offered through the Wii console will be discontinued starting June 28, 2013. We apologize to those of you currently using these services, and ask for your understanding. The affected applications are as follows:

Forecast Channel
News Channel
Everybody Votes Channel
Nintendo Channel
Check Mii Out Channel
Data exchange between Wii friends on WiiConnect24*

*Wii message exchanges via Wii Message Board, Mii exchanges via Mii Channel, and exchanges of messages or data in some game titles will no longer be possible.

Following the discontinuation, the above services will not be available even if they are started up on the Wii menu. However, services other than those mentioned above, such as the automatic receipt of "Today's Accomplishments" on the Wii Message Board and the Wii Shop Channel are unaffected and can continue to be used.

A good standing 6 or so years, but those walls are being teared down.

Could be an interesting time here if that community is looking for an alternative.

Well first of all, there will never be a duplicate friend code as I am aware. Never read any occurrences of it happening.

You could just add all zeros and call it a day, but I toyed with and found a way. You can go all out and delete the game entry in your account and add it back. To do this, mark said game as sold, and then delete the game. Go into the Wii games sections and re-add Brawl to games you've bought. Your friend code will thus be blank, as well as any written reviews of the game so be sure to copy it if you want to preserve that.

Oh yeah, 4Kids is dead. No more stupid censorship and bad writing of Japanese's culture. ~woo
Can't get too much into anime myself though, maybe I just haven't put enough care into trying. And the current stuff... doesn't do me any favors.

Looking at the block, uhhh... nope. Nothing here for me. Well I've herd Kai is pretty good if you want a pure experience that follows the manga.

I'm not much of a dude that uses the tube at all, but I got young family I watch sometimes and I try to follow the animation scene and try to hand pick out the talent. Disney needs to stop sitting on their hands and release some Gravity Falls.

I'm finally in a stable position at my new job. While it's no fantasy position for me, It's quite the laxed job with better pay.
I got my TV back, but really don't know what to do with it.
I still try to draw and still try to create music.
I just need to see/do more things, it's been routine too often as of late.

I know that most experts didn't get far into the campaign as well. To get the most of the game, people shared save files. In fact, things got more crazy after Gryzor shared his apparently 'glitched' file save which unlocked a movement editor. All thanks to devs and the contest they held with Distructoid.

Well it seems like all the files that were uploaded initially back then are dead. If you are interested (and have an American copy (European copies have different save files)), I could try and pull up my file that has the unlocks.

I know there is a bunch out there that holds some interest that I may want to dabble with, but not much make it on the list of day ones.

Crashmo (Fallblox), sequel to Pushmo (Pullblox), is the next day one... I think.

Let me say, that was very informative Gaby. A fine review for those that care about such things.

Only thing I have to critique is your Verdict. Well for one, I don't think you need the grades. I think you stated your stance well enough without a grade point. And I'm not much of a fan for the grade points in reviews anyways.
But besides that, you have 5 levels to grade with: A total of 25 total points are given to the game. On the "Overall" spectrum, only 20 points are allocated, thus giving the game a higher overall percentage (a 93 as apposed to a 74). I feel that once fixed, it would match your overall take on the game.

Here is the timeline for the Nintendo Directs that are happening tomorrow.

Japan is first, and will be happening 4 PM there: 3 AM EDT / 9 AM CET http://www.nintendo.co.jp/wiiu/index.html
(Don't expect subtitles or anything, but I'd expect you will see more games announced here)

Europe's and America's will happen simultaneously
Europe at 4 PM CET http://www.nintendo.co.uk/NOE/en_GB/news/nintendo_direct_47764.html

America at 10 AM EDT http://www.nintendo.com/wiiu

I'm looking for a transfer of digital goods. I know they did it with the 3DS from DSi, but I'd also like proper accounts. My Wii is dying for the most part.
Don't expect it to run GameCube discs though, Jose. WiiU has no controller ports, and the more recent models of Wii also took out backwards compatibility and the ports as well for the last year or so. Best bet for you is to have a GameCube with a Game Boy Player attachment, so good.

Well it's 40 either in physical copy or digital download. Anything lower has been at retailers sale price, again physical or digital.

Nintendo has shown that it wants to push it's digital store... But they need to work on the promotional and sale distribution side of things.

You can download games on the Wii Shop Channel.

There is plenty of how to's on the internet to help you out hook up a Wii to the internet. Here is one I've spent a matter of seconds finding
http://techtips.salon.com/hook-up-wii-wireless-internet-428.html

If you are look for some recommendations, give me some genres you like and hopefully myself or anyone really can guide you to some games.

Quote Jose Nintendo:... I updated some code yesterday that will keep you logged in longer if you select the 'Remember Me' box... a full year, to be exact.

This maybe true, but you have also sped up time itself. I was logged of before you know it!
Also while on a forum, you cannot click the to the latest post of sub-forums on the sidebar. This is due to also connecting it to the main forum number as well the corresponding sub-forum number.

Example:
While on "The Plaza", to reach the last post on "New Users" It links to
when in actually, you should be linked to this
Elimination of 1/ in the link fixes the problem.

System: Could be something, but I don't like how a lot of the stuff will be added on a later date. Meh.
Games: Pikmin 3, oh how I'd do nearly anything for you. And Platinum/Nintendo title 'P100' is cool. Everything else, eh.

All and all, I've come to terms that E3 isn't for me when it comes to games. There has been some that have gotten my attention (Sleeping Dogs has it), it just seems I've put myself out of the loop when it comes to the core and casual.

It's okay to lay your concern for the life of things you like.

I'm think I'm quite active (says the guy with early registration and not a 4 digit post number). I don't know. I seem to go at these community driven sites, but I've hardly done anything as a member. I think I've developed myself as some kind of neutral guy, just observing the world. Not really changing it, because that interfere with what people would have done if I didn't. It's created me as some kind of passive person. A Harsh one at that; but it's not in the sense of being mean, it's just society doesn't normally call for real people.

What you want is really what you want. You don't have to hide it. Sure, you might not feel strong about said feeling, you said it yourself. It's still a desire. A wish would probably be the best statement here.

Yeah sure, the controls aren't one you would normally expect in such a kind of game. (I'm talking about land battles. If you have something against the air battle controls, I just don't know what to say) But any other way besides maybe putting the game on the Wii or anything else with a IR controller you are going to be dominated online. I'm not saying that I validate what they did completely: I think controls should be open for any kind of game ever. It's just the speed and the accuracy of the controls that they have set here was the results in order to have a game reach such intensity.

But If you can borrow it, give it a spin. You could even go through the story as there are 3 save states so you don't have to mess with the host's stats. While I quite enjoy the multiplayer, the main story is a hoot. Something I wouldn't normally expect from Nintendo. Story, Music, Characters (all voiced over to boot!)... Maybe some of the pacing in the chapters could have been better. But yeah, I'm not going to spoiler it for you, but Gods be crazy.

It's just something not normally expected by Nintendo, and it's all on a handheld (for better or worse).

Am I interested? Of course, I like games and I am always invested in the future of them.
Am I hyped for the WiiU itself? I don't think so, but that can be easily be changed. I do like some of the rumors following it, but I seem to have found comfort with PC and Handhelds.

2 weeks in. Let me tell you, this game.
It's pretty cool.

I beat the the story in a weeks time. I wasn't expecting much, but I got one heck of a ride. The game does well with it's variants in game play all while creating this story line that goes all over. Gods be crazy as always.
The controls can be oft for some, but I've had experience of similar games (Metriod Prime: Hunters comes to mind). And the multiplayer is a hoot too.

You know, I was excited for this game like you wouldn't believe... but now it's become a waiting game I think.

Camelot's grand return into making sport games. Looking very closely like Mario Tennis (N64) which was the best console version but it too being a handheld alone meaning the possibility of enjoying the RPG elements of the other two handheld Mario Tennis games.

But no, after playing it around at PAX and following some lite coverage on the game, I see that the power shots are in spades creating ridiculous shots across the board. Sure, Mario sport titles are know for the power shots and what have you, but what was done in the first Mario Tennis was done with class I feel. It was still in the realm of possible, not these absurd shots with curves as if you were playing in a bowl or lobs that once fall hardly have enough momentum to bounce again. Nonsense.
And there is no RPG mode. Humbug.

So yeah, I don't know if I'm going to bother.

Signed, a man that cares about it's spin-off sport games.

Left 4 Dead 2
Metal Torrent (Thanks Cryo)

I got 314 out of 385 after going to PAX.

I can get the rest besides the Mario Tennis one by meeting with my friends that also went to PAX and finished theirs. And while this is here the Puzzle Swap music is catchy as anything.

While Colors have been out as a shareware title on the DS years back and later released as an ios title, Colors 3D is a digital retail product on the e-shop already out in America and will see it's European release out in a weeks time.

While being simple in it's own right, in the right hands people have made some great creations. All of which can be watched be created on their own gallery.

I've been toying with it mostly, but I did create something... Mostly, I like to observe how some of them create and draw. Others you can tell that they traced, but it's all art in the end I guess. If you wouldn't mind drawing on a DS, you can't go wrong with Colors 3D.

It's funny you bring this up. I just came back from PAX and I got street passed a bunch of them. It was a feature that I thought I didn't think I'd ever see in use if it weren't for PAX.

It's made me want to jump back in. I'll share some stuff too.

Edit: also, I got your message. I just have a somewhat spotty online access and I guess can't add in friend codes while offline. (?)

I got to beat Mirror's Edge for the first time recently. I've played it time and time before, but never got the chance to sit down and play the whole game. The mechanics is there, but it was tossed in a game that it get to pull of it's full potential.
