doubtful. the closest galaxy is 2.9 million light years away. that's 17 quintillion miles away. if the entire population of the U.S. drove an average of 12000 miles a year, it would take about 5 million years to go that many miles. there aren't enough resources in any system of planets to make such a trip even possible.
derreck, did you call and talk to them? if not, you are just assuming. call them. tell them the changes you would like to see, then wait and see. the first cmo update was done because of CUSTOMER FEEDBACK. everyone wanted to easily view the miis they created...

on nintendo's main wii page, you can link to a discussion by the creators, and moderators, of cmo. they say cmo is an experiment, or beta version for you net geeks, that they want user feedback on so it can be made to suit the demands of those who would use it.
also, they want telephone calls, not emails as i said in the original post.
now i know its scary for some to have REAL human interaction, but if they get enough feedback saying what we want, there are bound to be changes...

but don't complain, whine, piss, and moan about "copyists" if you aren't willing to ACTIVELY do something about it. out of one side of your mouth you say things need to be fixed and then the other side says you hope individual mii posts are always ignored.
so let me see if i have this straight- things are broken, you say you want it changed, but you're so damned lazy you want it fixed and then given back to you while you do nothing. if that's the case- you're a waste of space and your opinion doesn't matter

i suggested that noone be considered for rankings unless they have more than 10 miis posted, that you can view ALL the miis you've posted instead of just 50, and to give us the ability to delete miis we have created and posted which we no longer want on the channel.
i was told that if i knew others that want these changes to have them call and request it. together, we can affect real change and in a positive direction.
the u.s. telephone number is 1 (800)255-3700. when you call, just press "0" once and then ignore the automated system and hold for a representative. after pressing zero DO NOT press any other buttons.
wow guys.... thanks for all the support.... especially since no one else had ever created a harry with the scar and still make it look like harry potter. everyone else just used a mole. now its already being copied- poorly by a user "lindy"- so it'll be that much harder to get the credit for my efforts. thanks guys.... really, thanks....

^david. i've had a five star ranking since a week after downloading cmo and i downloaded it the week it came out. i have 12 5 star miis and a butt load of 3.5 to 4.5 miis. there are a few that have just 1 to 2 stars and a couple of new ones that have no rank yet. several of my miis go in and out of the popular section and my average mii score is consistantly higher than the bottom ten in the top 100. i regularly change my lower ranking miis... any other suggestions?
the latest gameformer magazine had something about a new game that's coming out that when you beat it with 100% your system will be updated with new mii options. my son was telling me about it. i'll try to find the article and post it here.

thank!!! it's the first color portrait i've done. the story is there is a local band who was using the eye from "a clockwork orange" as their logo. the first member got just that and since they have all been outdoing the last. i think this one will probably take the cake, lol!!!
@cheese- empathy is no reason to give away the farm. i don't know how old you are, but you should never make decisions based on emotion alone. we don't have the resources as a country to fix the world's woes. they should stay where they are, in mexico, and strive to improve their country.
yes, i did post that- and i stand behind what i said- you shouldn't drive when you're all f'd up- whether it be weed, alcohol, or anything else that keeps you all but 100% alert while driving. the same could be said for car stereos, cell phones, and friends riding in a teenager's vehicle. overall, the general use of marijuana is harmless but to the one ingesting it. what someone does in their own home is their business. when most people get high, all they want to do is lay around the house eating and laughing at stupid stuff, like teletubbies. they don't generally want to go out and drive around.

and i know it's not exactly the answer you want, but we put a price on human life every day. the average wrongful death lawsuit settles for about 40,000 dollars...
@ JuL- just because most people who use other drugs also smoke weed, does not mean that most people who smoke weed also use other drugs.

everyone has a good point, but i feel that ultimately it costs us too much to keep it illegal. the people who smoke pot, or want to, are going to use the drug either way. i just don't think it's good business for the tax payers to fund it all, as we are now, while it's illegal. if it were government controlled, like alcohol and tobacco, it would give the rest of us a huge break. we spend 70 billion plus a year to keep it illegal- extra police, prosecution, and housing for the offenders. then we, again, turn around and spend another 70 billion dollars on buying the drug itself. you say, "not me", but you do. how do you think someone who is unemployable pays for their junk- government welfare programs that we pay for, or they rob your house and pawn your belongings, or they mug you and take your cash, cards, and checks often times injuring you in the process so as a reward you get to pay outrageous hospital bills because your guts had to be surgically reinserted...
is it really worth all that to keep something as harmless- yes harmless- as pot illegal? it just isn't logical.
could you change the miis you copied and then repost them on CMO? that way they start out with a zero ranking and your work will be judged on YOUR merit...
