Just completed and played this my first time. Serious props. Beautifully detailed and entertaining. It is a bit cluttered at times though, making some bullets hard to see and collisions happen at unexpected moments, but compared to the sheer level of work put into this, those grips are quite minor!
I myself been wanting to get back into this, even if it means I can only spend 1 hour a day or so on making a new stage (blasted work...) (Heh, a pun!)
I haven't really looked at a lot of the top-not material on this site, but I do think I have a few tricks remaining up my own sleeve. =)

Just do what others did and use the Ninety-Nine cheat if you wanna see the end boss on Ace. It is possible without the cheat. It just requires some memorization of the stage and enemy attacks.

I don't know if I'll design a ship. If I plan on doing that, I would also design a bullet pattern for it, then design the whole stage with that bullet pattern in mind.
As for bosses, yeah I already know what the next two are going to be like, and they will be even better. This boss though is super-easy on Rookie and Pilot due to the way the difficulty system affects bullet patterns. The true power of the boss can only be seen in Ace mode, which is pretty brutal. Outside of Ace mode, the boss's attack is thrown out of whack.

This is my first level I've sent here. This is also the first of three different lava stages. Fortunately I have most of what I need, so building the next stage shouldn't take a long time.

Doubtful. A lot of these are coming out, and they're quite silly. Nobody wants to download a massive impossible deathwall for their enemies OR their ships.
Anyway, nice job, but for best effect, I would suggest that players could see the top of the ship when the play instead of the side. It would show more detail of the ship, and it's more reminescent of Ikaruga. I think it's possible to flip it around as such. I've sucessfully flipped a group of blocks to my preferred angle at one point.

Hey! I remember that boss... =)
...But he was red, blue, and green....and not so large....

Please tell me what you think!

Go here for the proper stage!
Nuts... this is the wrong level. This is merely a test level and wasn't supposed to go up. Please ignore this one!! Thank you!

Why are parts of the ship glowing? o_O

Wouldn't the Ship Position trigger allow the ship to appear in the right spot instead of directly on top of an enemy?
Level's fine, but I could not locate the boss's weak point, so I kept dying simply because I was scowering the thing for its weak point.
