Brilliant. Loved every minute of this level, hope you decide to make more.
@ Danderson, I was actually thinking the same thing, this definitely feels influenced by the Star Soldier series though I was thinking more towards the TG16 days than the NES.

Nice start, it feels weird playing Ikaruga horizontal though... in case you didn't know you can make vertical shmups with the editor. I hope to see the complete version as a vert, just my opinion though...

Remarkable. You're levels outshine many campaign stages. I loved every minute of this... however, if I may nitpick for a moment, I thought the boss was too easy this time, just a thought... the level otherwise was fantastic.

Love it! All your F-Type levels were great. Despite drawing direct inspiration from R-Type all your levels have managed to maintain a unique quality and style to them, very impressive stuff. Kudos to you!

I didn't think it was TOO easy.... I did beat it my second try, but I thought it was very well balanced actually, starts off nice, slow and quiet just like Geometry Wars and then builds up to a plethora of enemies attacking like crazy. I couldn't think of a better representation of Geometry Wars than what you have just built.
If you wanted to make another harder version of this though, I'd totally love to give it a shot! Haha.
My only issue with the level is the grid background became an eyesore after playing awhile, not sure what you could've done to improve that though and I do think that it was necessary for the theme you were going for, so I don't know, just nitpicking... but again, don't think I'm complaining per se, I still think your level was fantastic and we'll probably be one of the few I never delete...
By the way, I'm sorry, I didn't like the level, I died once right away and then I managed to kill everything while I was still invincible from respawning, so the level was over in a matter of seconds and provided no challenge.

Ah, good to know, I just played it on Pilot and thought it was too easy, I have to try Ace now. By the way, I thought the level was great.
I've been waiting for someone to release a good vert. Job well done, can't wait to see the completed project.
That's very helpful, thanks.
Very original and challenging, kudos! I especially liked the faux title screen, haha, looking forward to any more levels you decide to make.
It's not bad, but I liked P. D4NG3R's version better, no offense.
I haven't tried the ? version yet though, looking forward to it.
I don't think this belongs under level. You should have uploaded the character as an Enemy instead. Its nice sprite work though.
This wasn't impossible at all, I beat it quite easily actually...
LIES!... "They are exactly the same, but there are a few changes." -- If there are a few changes, how are they exactly the same! Hmm?!?
Not too shabby, I enjoyed this, good job.

I only died once...

Just got around to playing it, thought it was great! Thank you for sharing.
Sweet.... haven't played this yet, but I'm excited, I loved your last F-Type level.
Just played it, thought it was great! Well done!
Nice idea, looking forward to trying it out tonight.
Fantastic work. I really liked the use of power-ups, I'm always glad to see levels that don't utilize the sticky mechanism for everything.
Please, don't tease me with demos!!! haha, j/k, awesome work so far, looking forward to seeing its complete state.
Pure
Awesomesauce!
Love it, Galaga is and always will be one of my favorites... Nice work.
Great stuff, kudos to you!
