Hi guys, got a 3ds a couple weeks back, I figured I'd update my old miis since my old pics are awkwardly cropped (whew it took forever!), the 3ds makes it easier to get good pics via sd card. I've made a couple new ones since I've had some time off school, enjoy em and happy summer to you all.

Definitely not for the "to do" pile, best on the site by far. Anytime I can immediately identify a mii from the thumbnail, it's gotta be good. The only thing to improve would be the hair, but it was probably chosen because it frames the face nicely. 5* and bm.
Just picked up Wii Sports Resort the other day, what a great game. I cant believe nintendo didnt include motion at launch it works great. Im gonna write a review. :)
My method for mii making celebs is pretty straight forward:
First I find a good pic of them, people photograph differently depending on lighting etc., so find a pic that really accentuates their features captures their look . Preferably a straight on headshot since thats how you put em together, and present them on the site.
Surprisingly, Mii making is actually something you can get better at the more you do. Notice most artists miis improve alot over time from their first miis to newer ones. Once you get familiar with the selection of features you can look at someone and match up eyes, nose etc. together really quick. Its all spacing/placement after that. Hope that helps
I was pretty shocked to hear he died, regardless of what people think of his personal life, he was a gifted entertainer and a true original (as far as pop music goes). If you were a kid growin up in the eighties u loved MJ simple as that , Me and my brother were those kids too.

This is a great thread guys, I've had trouble in the past with many miis , James Dean (and this site needs one), so I issue the James Dean challenge to all mii makers interested, go for the 'rebel without a cause' version.

Yup, I've tried to make Ben too he's very tough, I didnt even come close untill I saw this one & was inspired to try again. I think you got the features dead on Rababob, only the placement could be tweaked to look even closer (depending on what kind of look u want). I may upload my version if Rababob approves me ripping him off :D
Damn, I've been doing some downvoting ,unintentionaly of course. Since the site was overhauled I havn't even been able to see ANY miis (IE7 problems I figure). Today I can see the miis for some reason. Anyways the voting is getting sketchy, sometimes I think I click 5* but registers as 4* instead. No biggie though since I only vote on miis which I like , just thought I'd mention it.
Hmmm.... I think it 's actually a really good idea. Bill, Tip, Soxfan and Celery are all consistent voters and contributors and they help keep the site going . I trust all of em to not let it devolve into some self serving practice,. Also there are over 10,000 miis on this site, many of which get uploaded and forgotten about , so whats wrong with sorting thru them and picking your favs? After all, we have a bookmark section on our own pages, this (to me) is an extention of that idea: a giant community bookmark page.
