What I meant by impossible miis is that you can use multiple images to compile a likeness. The rules are that you still have to use proper mii parts. I know most of you purists won't like it, but the way I see it this is the only way to let our creativity expand without it being stolen by Check Mii Out "artists".
We've had people create upside-down miis, adjusted tint/color miis, sideways miis, and so on. So the way I see it compiling multiple faces to make new miis should be ok too.
Oh and Happy Holidays MiiPlaza!
Hey guys and gals!
I know I've been gone for quite a while now, but since the Check Mii Out channel has been released I have lost my "drive" to create miis. I have never publicly stated my stance on mii thievery, and the like, because when it was limited to this site it didn't matter to me. I was happy to be giving inspiration, and help cultivate a community of creativity. But things have changed, and this is no longer about the fun of creating. Some of you may remember when my Lost in Space robot mii was used in a competition outside of MiiPlaza without permission, or due credit. If only that was the worst of our problems. Now it seems that on the Check Mii Out channel nameless "artists" are getting credit for simpy copying miis off our site. It isn't right, but there isn't anything we can do about it I guess.
At least that was what I thought until I had an idea. Why not just make miis that are impossible to use in the Check Mii Out channel. I have made a few of these miis, and posted them today.
My crusade shall be known as Miisson Impossible. :D
Thanks for your time,
Atkafighter
Berserk a strange song that grows on you. Also possibly my favorite anime series ever. Definitely my favorite manga.
Hellsing at first I wasn't so thrilled about it, but after watching the series, and now the OVAs I love it. It's perfect for the atmosphere of the show.
Guyver, but I couldn't find the original one. It's called the Bio-Booster series in America I think.
Naruto: Haruka Kanata. Just awesome intro. I wasn't thrilled about Naruto until this intro.
Aww! I got an error, and now I have to re-do the entire list I made.
Oh well I though of some more anyway so consider it to be your benefit.
I noticed that pretty much all of the shows listed are currently running in Japan, or are currently running on CN. Before I start I'd like to add that just because it's a recent series doesn't make it "better" than older series. In fact, I enjoy very few of the series that have come out in the last few years. I enjoyed Bleach only up to episode 60ish, and Naruto up to about 50. I really haven't enjoyed anything else lately.
Anyway on with my list:
Berserk (sadly only one season of anime, but plenty of manga, which still is not finished)
Ranma 1/2
Appleseed
Giant Robo
Samurai Pizza Cats
8 Man
Initial D (Really I don't follow it closely. I just skip around, and watch the better races.)
Patlabor
Robotech/Macross series (and all movies)
Hellsing
Speed Racer (that counts right?)
Voltron
Rurouni Kenshin (only the parts where Kenshin is becoming the Battosai)
Devilman
Guyver
Samurai 7 (honestly I think I like this one, because is love the movie Seven Samurai so much)
Evangelion (Overrated? Yes, but it's still very good.)
Gungrave (the Mafia half is awesome)
Transformers (the Japanese series are very interesting.)
Movies, because sometimes I don't want to watch a whole series:
Akira (the name is synonymous with anime)
Vampire Hunter D (Bloodlust is okay too)
The Miyazaki films (although I didn't care much for Howl's Moving Castle)
Ghost in the Shell
Ninja Scroll
Fist of the North Star
Samurai X: Reflection
I'm sure I'll think of more later, bur that's it for now.
In response to about wii fit on

Usually long as people are moving, and not sitting around they can loose weight. The hard part is motivating people to get up and do something.
People have lost weight with WiiSports, and it doesn't look like you can "cheat" the motions with the WiiBoard, so I would expect people to actually lose weight if they keep it up.
And I hope developers use the board for other games too.
I have it, and it's useful for times when you don't want to lug a laptop with you. I would only recommend it if you go somewhere without computers, but internet access often. Like schools, universities, coffee shops, hotels etc. That way you don't have to mess with the connection settings every use.
For example when I'm on campus, and I want to check my e-mail, read some news, or read weblogs I can use the DS instead of the public library computers (they are just as slow, and they are very dirty). I don't turn on the pictures, and it works pretty well. Almost as fast as most cell phones, but I'm sure you all know by now that it doesn't support Java, or Flash. It really depends on what you need it for.
For most people I would agree that the DS browser wouldn't be useful, but in special circumstances it is pretty nice to have. It in no way replaces a laptop, but it's cheaper than buying a smartphone, definitely cheaper than an iPhone.
I expected to wait long periods of time between Nintendo titles. The Wii is the first console I've bought since my SNES.
I only liked GoldenEye, and Mario Kart on the N64, and my friends had it so I didn't need to get one. And I've been catching up on my GC gaming with the Wii. Although I'm pretty surprised at how expensive these games are. They are still holding $20-30 used as last gen titles.
I'm starting to notice that as a rule Nintendo games are few and far between, but they are quality, and they rarely go on sale. The third party games however are a mixed bag. Sometimes you get gold, and sometimes you get garbage.
I sort of expected the Wii to be this way, but I didn't expect to wait so long for a Mario game to come out. I thought Galaxy would have come out sometime during the summer, and Kart this Winter. But it seems we get neither until next year.
Just letting you guys know there is a pretty good vertical shooter out there called Nanostray for the DS. If you are lucky you can pick up this game brand new for as low as $9.
The game is great for people who like shoot 'em ups. It's pretty challenging, and even has single card multi-player.
The graphics look really great, and it's almost hypnotic in motion. The action is fast, and frenzied. It's difficult at first, but isn't to the point that it becomes frustrating.
My only complaint is that you have to touch the bottom screen to change weapons, but if you can look past that flaw this game is very fun, and is a welcome addition to my DS collection.

There are two icons next to the topic. One is the bookmark icon (it's a notepad with a on it), and the other is the flag (for marking inappropriate material).
Bookmarking a topic keeps it on top for your browser so you don't lose track of it.

Aww yeah how could I forget Metallica. There are a couple of songs that I think you would enjoy, but I haven't really followed the band's, but I remember these songs:
Tom Petty - Free Fallin'
Twisted Sister - I Wanna Rock
The Clash - Should I Stay or Should I Go
Whitesnake - Here I Go Again
(I don't know the artist) - Blister in the Sun
(Also unknown) - Hotel California
AC/DC - Highway to Hell
Mudvayne - Happy
Elton John - Rocket Man
Blur - Song 2
Foreigner - Juke Box Hero
(Unknown) - Old Time Rock and Roll
Motley Crue - Kickstart My Heart
Rise Against - Prayer of the Refugee
Modest Mouse - Dashboard
And a few more bands to check out: Ramones, Sublime, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, and Smashing Pumpkins.

Well 60's and up is quite a large chunk of history. I'll just point you toward some of my favorites.
A list of some of my favorites (in no particular order): Guns N' Roses, Aerosmith, Queen, Rage Against the Machine, KISS, The Police, Van Halen, Judas Priest, Boston, Journey, The Rolling Stones, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Black Sabbath/Ozzy Osbourne.
I'm pretty sure this channel is dead. I haven't heard anything about it for months.
I didn't think it was such a great idea in the first place. I mean what's stopping people from copying each other. The original artists wouldn't get the credit they deserve. It would probably turn into a hate fest, or ego driven chaos.
I hope they realized this, and decided to shift focus to something more entertaining. I've dealt with popularity contests my whole life. I don't want them in my games too.
I wish they would make an "Animal Crossing" type channel where you use your miis. I don't think I would ever leave the house if they made something like that.
I wanted to thank everyone for supporting me during the Mortal Kombat Mii contest.
As some of you may know there was another mii contest where my work was copied, and someone won with it. Because of this I made it a priority to win this particular mii contest.
I received the e-mail today declaring me as the winner.
Yes that seems to be the double-edged sword of requiring people to register. It seems that people aren't so vocal when they aren't protected by the anonymity of the internet.
I've been holding out since I still have my older consoles in working condition. I keep hearing rumors of original content for the VC so that's what I'm waiting on.
I think what happened is when he would quote someone it gave a code like: [ quote] number [/ quote], and thought it wasn't working properly.
Instead of having the entire post being quoted put in your box word for word I think the code is replaced by the post stored in the number combination.
But to answer his question, the quoting does work after a refresh.
I was thinking instead of a trade section maybe a Pokemon section inside of the DS section.
Also, would anyone mind if I try to clean up some of these repeat topics, spam topics, or moved things around? I just wanted to make sure I don't overstep any boundaries.
I noticed that not a lot of people seem to be using the Friend Code section for exchanging friend codes.
Maybe a Trade section for Pokemon players, and people who want to share Miis? This would help cut down on the threads in the DS section. Or maybe people should just use the Friend Code section more.
Also if there was a New section that just had the news from the front page it would be easier to comment on, and see what other people had to say on the older articles.
Ah yes sorry I forgot to explain it before. I think I stopped typing to play it.
Anyway when you play there is a large grid of animal faces, and you use the stylus to move the around. You can swap an animal "tile" with one adjacent in either up, down, left, and right. When you set three matching animal tiles in a row that animal is considered captured.
In my opinion this puzzle game is one of the most fun puzzlers I've come across in a long time.

Hi,
I have just heard of a game called Heatseeker. The first time I played with the Wiimote I instantly thought of the immersive flight simulators the controller could provide.
I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about this game.
Is it worth it? How's the flight controls? Is it fun? Are you even interested?
It doesn't seem to be out in my area, but any input is appreciated,

Hmm I'm somewhat split on the decision.
Naruto wins on characters, and opening music (Two words... Haruka Kanata).
Bleach wins on manga, and animation quality (Did you see Grimjow beating Ichigo senseless?).
I'll leave story up for a tie, because comparing Naruto to Bleach is apples to oranges.
