I was looking at pics of her on google image and I see what you mean. I like the mouth; she does tend to push her top lip down when gives a little smile. Her eyes are very often squintier than you have them here, and she has a squarer jaw.

I recognised this guy right away. I watched the 1st few episodes of Treme because I loved the wire so much. Wait. Why haven't I made miis from the wire? I'm getting psyched now. But back to this guy and his show. They both suck. Maybe the show got better, but I don't think I should have to sit through several hours of crap before I can appreciate a story. Mii looks good though.

holy crap. Jack Black was the 1st perfect celeb mii to hit the net. I didn't think it could be improved upon, but by the grace of the 3DS, you've done it.
1633-4179-2227 Here's mine. Hopefully it won't be too long before mariokart or another suitably online game comes along so I can get some use out of these codes. I did absolutely nothing with my wii address book.
Is it wrong to vote for my own mii? Too late. I like him the best anyway. I uploaded the 3DS version separately because even thought it is more accurate, I still have affection for this version.
Actually, it's a huge pain in the ass. I thought that I could drop the pic into microsoft paint and splash a new background color. Unfortunately, there is a halo of white dots around the mii and I had to zoom in and color them out.
She's a hard one to capture for sure. Definitely prettier though. I started watching X-files again on netflix. It's still great, even though I notice the low production values now.

You got a haircut. By the way, how are you getting photos on this site? Are you taking a picture of the 3DS screen, or can you save portraits to the sd card on the system and transfer that to your computer?

And you did a wii version of her to compare with. This one looks better, it has her downward pushed smile. Can't wait wait till 3DS arrives in the states.
I down loaded the Punch-Out! demo. Doc can get tricky on the harder settings. But it's nothing special if you have the full game. I think next year I'll order the hat, or whatever the physical option is.
Room for one more? I loaned my camera out so I can't take pictures right now. So I'm submitting an old mii. I didn't use it in last year's contest. I'm not sure what I'm going to do for next week's submission. Would someone take pictures of my miis and post them if I sent them?

I like making caricatures using all black part like this one. It gives the mii a more detailed look. You've definately got the right nose, but I always picture him as having angrier eyes.

IGN's Matt Casamassina just posted an article with reccomendations for improving The Grinder. First on his list was faster running speeds. So I know I'm not alone in feeling like the Conduit was too sluggish. As it turns out the running speed in multiplayer cannot be changed. And the bounding box cannot be set to zero. So all my original complaints have not changed.
Moving on. I've seen some previews of red steel two that were not impressed with the controls. Now I'm worried that it will be another Madworld, a game that looks good, but just isn't fun. I'm still hoping that The Grinder will be good, but I may be playing left for dead 2 by the time it comes out. That only leaves Silent Hill on the list of hardcore games I'm looking foreward to.
Maybe I should just give up looking for "adult" games and focus on interesting control schemes, since that is the biggest factor for me anyway. Games like boom blox, let's tap, and the upcomming wing island have interesting control schemes, and if they work I'll overlook the presentation.
I know this thread was about the conduit, but there's another Conduit tips thread so I'll commandere this one. Say we redefine hardcore on the wii as having a control scheme that works and has some depth, rather that just having blood and voilence. What are your favorite hardcore, good controlling games on the Wii? And which games are you looking foreward to?

@ J Tangle: You can look up and down, but you hit artificial walls that are frustrating when going up and down stairs or looking over ledges. Maybe you can adjust that in the settings. I missed the running speed the first time. I'm nitpicking I'll admit. Most people didn't just finish quake like me and won't feel the same disappiontment. I played through quake in excited anticipation for the Conduit. The fact that the controls in the conduit need to be adjusted probably won't help the noobs who won't have the patience or interest in modifying every last detail. I'm glad they tried to give me as much control as possible. But I still feel like I am not able to make it play the way I want it to.

You're right. The speed increase is in the game options and not the contol options. Odd. Anyway, the speed maxed out is only acceptable, it doesn't feel as quick as quake did. I wonder if the speed settings will translate into multiplayer. Speaking of which, the multiplayer is easy to sign into and plays pretty well. I don't like how the melee works though. It would take a lot more time to give it a proper review. I'm 2/3 of the way through the single player now. I think I'll finish it tonight and sell it on goozex on monday. The multiplayer is definately the real draw of this game. If I bought a wii speak microphone, and there was an organised miiplaza game night, this might be worth it for me. But I haven't been active enough the past few months and don't have time to put it all together. Overall, I give the game a C. To put that in context, I'd give the majority of wii games out there an F.

It's not nintendo's problem; they're raking in the dough. It's our problem if we want more good games. But what I'm saying you can't blame gamers for not buying the conduit since it's not worth buying. Boom blox was worth buying. And enough people bought it to justify making a sequal. If silent hill, red steel 2, and the grinder are as good as I hope and they don't sell, then you can blame the whiney fanboys.

I was psyched for this game, but I've only gotten through four levels and already I am thinking of selling it. I hacked my wii earlier this year and played through the homebrew version of the original quake. The controls in that game were far superior to the controls in the conduit. Instead of letting you adjust everything, the people who ported quake just assumed you are hardcore. The bounding box is tiny, the turning speed is fast, you run fast all the time, and you can look strait up or strait down if you want to. The conduit doesnn't let you adjust the running speed, and it just feels slow. And you can't look strait up or strait down, which hurts your ability to quickly scan a multi-level room for enemies.
Since I can't get behind this game as having the best controls on a 1st person shooter on the Wii, I can't reccomend this to anyone. The game's other faults have been covered in the online reviews, and they are mostly correct. Throwaway alien invasion story line, mostly cramped hallway shooting, and annoying all-seeing-eye "puzzles." Maybe the fact that the single player campaign is only 5 hours long is actually a posative.
I'm going to try out the multiplayer now. I don't expect to change my opinion that much since I am not impressed by the game's supposed strong suit, it's controls. I'll post again later about that.
But I just need to rant for a minute about hardcore games on the wii. There have been a few attempts this year at selling games the the core videogamer, mostly by sega. House of the dead Overkill, Madworld, and now the Conduit. They haven't been selling particularly well, and I'm worried that publishers will take that to mean that it is only worth selling more minigame collections. I'd like to point out that the games might not be selling because they suck. House of the dead and madworld were games that had everything going for them except gameplay. They had interesting themes, beautiful design that worked well with the wii's graphical shortcommings, good music, and in the case of madworld, truely well done voice work. But they played like ****. House of the dead is a crappy lightgun game because the wiimote is not a light gun. duck hunt came out how many years ago and did a better job making you feel like you were aiming at something real? And madworld was a shallow wagglefest. The fun and "creativity" in discovering different ways to kill someone wore off after the first level. It looked cool, it was just boring to play. The conduit was supposed to be different, at least I was hoping it would be. The wii can do 1st person shooter, better than dual analog in my opinion. But the game is slow and the level design is antiquated. I spent money to do my part to encourage developers to put effort into wii exclusives, and I feel cheated. It's OK though, I traded in those games and got boom blox 2.
My next hardcore hopes are silent hill: shattered memories, red steel 2, and the Grinder. So far being a wii owned isn't much different from being gamecube owner. You buy the system to play nintendo games. I'm sure that wii sports resort, new super mario bros wii, mario galaxy, and metroid other m wiil rock, so things ain't all bad.
Congrats to Celery on overtaking Atkafighter in total number of miis uploaded. As of this post he has uploaded 477 miis. Atka is way behind with 474. I didn't think anyone would do it. This doesn't in anyway deminish Akta's place in Miiplaza history. He produced so many good miis in such a short time. And then he was gone...
