i know DDR has it as well as other and it's fine. I like getting perfects and excellents in those kind of games, but i would find it annoying in guitar hero. It's a nice suggestion, but i don't think it will fly with most hardcore gamers.
But that's just me. The important thing is that you guys are still posting new ideas and i thank you for that :)

Actually, i would find that annoying. Stupidly missing hammer-ons is already stressful enough for me, i don't need the game telling me how my timing was. But, thats me. I like challenges, but if you like to play easy songs and try to get correct timing, then it would be a good addition to the game for you. That's fine with me.

Yeah. They really should consider allowing their songs to be used for stuff like this. They would become more popular with this generation of gamers, casual and hardcore alike.

well, Nathan, the Linkin Park song is In The End, if i remember correctly and the Korn Song is Freak on a Leash. The official song list has been released. i'll post the link in the first post.
Here is a very good example of chinese favoritism in the olympics:
Nastia Liukin had the best uneven bar routine yesterday and tied china's He Kexin's score of 16.725 for first place. Nastia then lost in the tiebreaker. I have no problem with the tiebreaker procedure, but there should not have even been a tiebreaker! Nastia should have had a higher score than He. NASTIA had the better routine and He got a much better score than she deserved!! He Kexin had many mistakes and Nastia was flawless!! I am highly dissapointed in china's sportsmanship because He is one of the girles that is TOO YOUNG to compete also!! She's only 13 and looks it too!! China fairly won every men's gymnastics medal, but the women's gymnastics is a scandal and a total rippoff to Nastia Liukin, Alicia Sacramone, and the rest of the women's USA gymnastics team. I really hope this doesn't happen again tonight in the balance beam. What do you guys think of all this?

Niagara Falls. There may not be much to do in Buffalo, but niagara falls is just a little north of buffalo. I live about an hour away from niagara falls. I've been there a couple times and it's pretty cool. They have a boat you can ride that takes you close to the bottom of the Niagara and Horseshoe Falls called the Maid of the Mist. They also have a walkway built right at the bottom of the falls that you can walk on, but i haven't done that. By the way, they give you free ponchos because you will get soaked. At night, they have lights on the canadian side of the river that shines on the falls. If you've run out of ideas, give Niagara Falls a try :)
Ive seen a lot of good suggestions in this thread for future single band versions of guitar hero, but i think some of us don't understand what makes a band worthy of their own guitar hero. Like aerosmith, to make a game like this, the band needs 25-40 songs from various points in the band's career. The bands i think are worthy is Van Halen, The Beatles, AC/DC, Metallica, Queen, Guns-n-Roses, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Black Sabbath/Ozzy Osbourne and the Rolling Stones(and others i may not have mentioned). No offense to any of the other great bands mentioned, but i don't think they have enough material to work with. It would be cool if they could make a metal version with the greatest from bands like Korn, Iron Maiden, Rob Zombie, Marylin Manson, Disturbed, Slipknot, System of a Down, etc. but not many bands have the potential of it's own guitar hero.

Big Update
All the great features you heard about are confirmed for the wii. That includes your own music studio where make custom songs, download custom songs from other people, and store up to 200 songs. The wii guitar controller is going to have 5 more touch-sensitive frets, but their function is yet to be announced. DLC has also been confirned for the wii version and songs can be stored on an sd card. The biggest relief for me is that any other usb microphone should work with guitar hero world tour. As much as i would like to buy the whole package, i don't have the money for drums, so this way i can get the singing part of the game :)
Some sonfirmed songs are Sublime's "Santeria, Billy Idol's "Rebel Yell," and the Foo Fighters' "Everlong" as well as Van Halen, The Eagles, and Linkin Park.

It is now confirmed that it is called Guitar Hero World Tour, so if there is any way a mod can rename this thread, that would be great. Otherwise, i'll have to just move the news over to another thread named Guitar Hero World Tour.
A new video from Activision and Neversoft has come out and it's titled Guitar Hero World Tour. Now, some people are referring to it as Guitar Hero 4 (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii), but we've yet to confirm if they're the same thing. For now though, we stick to status quo.What we do know is that it's looking nice and it's set to include such acts as Van Halen, The Eagles, Linkin Park and Sublime. It's also due to get a five-piece drum set which the devs say is "the most realistic" of any game in the genre. We wonder what Harmonix and Rock Band (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii) will have to say about that.This game is set for a Fall 2008 release. We'll give you more updates in upcoming posts. Meanwhile, enjoy Lenny Kravitz's mean riffs while you wait.

the reason i chose that it shouldn't be banned is because im in good shape since im an athlete and i like the occasional snack from the vending machine and i don't think it should be taken away because some kids don't know their limits. Besides, kids can still get junk food at the corner store on the way to school, but i do agree that its a good idea to make foods lower in fat and sugar, just not to only serve fruits and vegetables :)
I know this isn't as big a topic as say global warming, but i did an 8 page research paper on this topic for english and i would just like to see what you guys think about this topic. In my paper, I wrote against banning junk food from schools, but i have since had some regard for banning it and fully understand the reasoning behind it. I will be happy to share some information about this topic if requested, otherwise, post your opinion on the issue :)

Very impressive update i must say and the badges are nice feat. The only thing i have to say is that there isn't enough room for all the badges in the profile. I know me and some others have more badges than what is displayed on our profiles, but it doesn't really matter all that much. Just something that can be fixed in the future if wanted :)
idk wat this spamming is about, but i would like to thank you matt for helping out so much with my gh3 tour group and i hope you will be active on my forum board.
i think it should be legal for some minor discipline because getting spanked by a teacher in front of the class will keep the ruthless kids in order. I'm not saying that teachers should be able to abuse a kid, but there are some real hooligans who deserve some minor physical discipline in my school.
np eric. great to have u back. ive been away since brawl came out, too. wer'e still barely hanging on he front page and just broke the 400 member mark with around 1-2 new members per day :)
